Niger: the laquets of Françafrique are organising to attack the country

The military authorities in power in Niger denounce France's military manoeuvres from West African countries, according to a report by the Nigerien Press Agency (NPA, official), citing a statement from the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Fatherland (NCSF) on Saturday.

"It is necessary to inform national and international public opinion that despite the announcement [of a] withdrawal plan, France continues to deploy its forces in several ECOWAS countries [Economic Community of West African States], as part of the preparations for an aggression against Niger that it is considering in collaboration with this community organisation," noted the NCSF.

"A hundred rotations of military cargo aircraft have made it possible to land a large amount of war materials and equipment in Senegal, Ivory Coast and Benin," the NCSF said in its statement.

"From September 1, 2023, two A400 M military transport aircraft and a Dornier 328 were deployed as reinforcements in Côte d'Ivoire; two super PUMA multi-role helicopters, about forty armoured vehicles in Kandi and Malanville in Benin. On September 7, 2023, a French military ship docked in Cotonou with personnel and military means on board, "added the same source.

The NCSF and the Transitional Government denounced and castigated what is similar to an attempt to destabilise the NCSF on the part of France, questioning "the sincerity of the announcement of the French withdrawal plan", previously declared.

"We must question the sincerity of the announcement of the French withdrawal plan for the reasons that this withdrawal announcement comes from an operational level. It is therefore not carried by either the French Army Staff or by the French Government and has not been the subject of any official written and declarative press release, "says the NCSF.

Faced with the meteoric rise of anti-French sentiment on the continent and the growing loss of its former colonies, France has decided, with the complicity of certain African leaders in its pay, to set Niger on fire and blood in order to preserve what remains of its interests in the country, to the detriment of the will of the Nigerian people resolutely determined behind the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP), to establish its sovereignty.

Indeed, the French nebula wants to provoke a human butchery in Niger by means of a special plan to destroy the country that intends to materialise by a massive bombardment of all the positions of the Nigerien Defence Forces (NDF)in order to sow unprecedented chaos in the capital and its surroundings.

The sole purpose of this action is to pave the way for the cowardly troops of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) already positioned in Benin and Nigeria in accordance with their deliberate decision to militarily annex the country, while violating the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of States.

To this end, the NCSF launches "a solemn appeal to the great people of Niger to be vigilant and never to demobilise until the inevitable departure of French troops from our territory, the land of our ancestors".

All in all, Burkina Faso and Mali, both led by pan-African soldiers, previously issued a declaration of support for Niger against any military operation that would aim to undermine the interests and deep considerations of Niger and its people, actions that would then be considered a "declaration of war" against Burkina Faso and Mali, according to a joint statement by the authorities of the two countries.

As a reminder, on July 26, members of the presidential guard took power, dismissing President Mohamed Bazoum and announcing the suspension of the Constitution and the formation of a National Council for the Safeguarding of the Fatherland.

The NCSF, set up following this coup, gave ultimatums to the French ambassador and the French forces to leave the country.
