Equatorial Guinea: President Makes Suprise Visit to Educational Centres

Guinea's President Theodora Obiang Nguema Mbasogo made an unannounced visit to some primary and secondary schools in Malabo, within the context to determine students' performance and level of uptake.

President Obiang was at the CANIGE educational centre in the early hours of Wednesday 26th October, where he engaged with primary school pupils to discover, in addition to their knowledge, the children’s aspirations for when they are older.

H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has consistently shown concern about the comprehensive education of Equatoguinean youth, considering that they are the future of the nation and as such, must grow up with all the moral principles to achieve a better future.

During his friendly exchange with pupils and students, the Equatoguinean leader advised children to avoid bad habits and devote themselves fully to their education as the only ladder to a better future.

The President of the Republic was satisfied with the student's abilities, which he assessed using a multiple-choice test.

The President Founder of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea also took time to listen to the children's requests and recommendations and was congratulated by some of the pupils, who thanked their president for ensuring that Equatorial Guinea is at peace, without war. Other pupils requested to hug the president, a wish which was warmly granted.

Observes believe that President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has used his closeness to the people to win the hearts of both the young and old throughout the country.
