Ethiopians both home and abroad have been raising concerns on what could really be the interest of the US in Ethiopia.
In a recent move to express their dissatisfaction, Eritreans and Ethiopians in Washington took to the streets denouncing the interference in Ethiopia.

It will appear that the US is looking for means to replace Abiy with someone they can easily manipulate.
Since the terrorist attack by the TPLF, several international news outlets have focused their report on disseminating fake news and propaganda furnished to them by the TPLF.
CNN makes a false report on the Tigray
Sources inside the US State Department confirmed that a widely circulated report in recent days on the situation in the Ethiopian region of Tigrai was commissioned by CNN to justify the American position in favor of an intervention to save what remains of the TPLF terrorist organization which is explicitly supported always by the powerful Susan Rice, former National Security Adviser of Obama who uses his former Blinken assistant and current Secretary of State to dictate policy in the Horn of Africa.

Inner sources further revealed that large sums embezzled by the leaders of this Tigrayan terrorist organization when it was in power in Ethiopia would be used to convince Republican and Democratic members of Congress to take a stand against the Ethiopian government under the pretext of a serious humanitarian crisis which would justify direct intervention in the country.
Analyst recalls a similar tactic used in Iraq, where, in a bit to prepare for intervention, there were fabricated evidence and denounced massacres and serious human rights violations aimed at preparing the international public opinion.
In the case of Ethiopia, the US began by accusing the Eritrean troops of many months of massacres and when the Ethiopian Commission of Inquiry established that Eritrea had nothing to do with these acts which had in fact been greatly exaggerated, the US moved to argued that Eritrean and Ethiopian troops are preventing the delivery of food aid to poor populations of Tigray.
The objective of the false information is to dislodge the Eritrean and Ethiopian military and police who are chasing terrorists in Tigray. However, this new international false campaign is contradicted by the enormous solidarity effort of the Ethiopian government and the Ethiopian people displayed since the beginning of the military crisis triggered by the TPLF terrorists. Eritrean and Ethiopian governments have put in place important logistics to aid the displaced populations with a very large distribution of humanitarian aid. Unlike international organizations which shine only in their strong media presence without any concrete support.
This disinformation that aspires to make international public opinion believe that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Nobel Peace Prize winner considered a Messiah for the majority of its population is a Pol Pot who wants to starve its population by preventing aid distribution.
However, Ethiopians have been quick to react to this false information calling it "criminal and an insult to their intelligence".
"Ethiopians understand that the Susan Rice / Blinken administration's efforts to discredit Abiy is aimed at preparing a coup or a succession favorable to TPLF terrorists" An analyst says.
Some observers see Washington's hand behind the decision to postpone the elections by the Ethiopian Election Commission which were initially scheduled for June 6. despite the proclamations. All this has left observers wondering if at all Washington is currently working for peace and stability in the Horn of Africa?
